»The First Big Weekend«, »The Shy Retirer«, »New Birds« – the songs of Falkirk, Central Scotland’s Malcolm Middleton and Aidan Moffat are practically household names. Arab Strap are still unrivaled when it comes to sincere, painfully honest songwriting and the overlapping of indie rock and electronica. They’ve also long been considered out of the game – they disbanded more than ten years ago, after six acclaimed albums – but now they’re back, reunited. Their »Pop-Kultur« appearance is their first (and only) in Germany since getting back together. How did they put it once themselves? »There’s no ending!« At least not now, and not here.
