Jens Balzer, a critic whose reviews are read in equal parts by acts he shuns, acts he praises, and by pop music enthusiasts, belongs to that sub-breed of humans who can almost always think of something clever and witty to say. After all, a disappointed review should be just as much fun to read as a glowing one.
Last year, with the book »Pop«, Balzer delivered a »Panorama of the Present«. This year he appears as a DJ. As he does in his occasional engagements supporting concerts at Berghain, he’ll take us on a tasteful, well-informed journey through cryptic tunes, light pop, and the occasional deep bass line.
