Berlin Community Radio stays true to its word: indeed, the programme of this local internet radio station is designed by a community of Berlin creative types – DJs, producers, event organisers, label owners, journalists, and sub-collectives. And they produce more than a 100 different shows and formats. For touring acts, a stopover at the station’s studio has become more or less compulsory.
BCR is an exhibit A of how international the local scene in Berlin has become, how strongly globally connected it is, and the extent to which it benefits from constant influx. Joined by many guests from the festival’s line-up, they will broadcast live throughout the »Pop-Kultur« festival, and the BCR studio will be relocated to Club 23 for the occasion.
