Robin Poligné conducted his first musical experiments on his parents' home PC. Another important career move happened in the German city of Dresden; it was there that he developed the current concept of Rouge Gorge during a six-month stay, and a mini-album called »Dresden Tapes« is the evidence.
The Frenchman Poligné now lives in Rennes, plays in several bands, and is getting ready to release his first full-length album, which he’ll present in parts at »Pop-Kultur«. It will be the first time ever that he performs this new material. He sings in both French and English, but the music is clearly »Francewave«, as Poligné puts it – i.e., minimalist, bare-bones synth-pop!
