Her father played in the Honeycombs and one of her first jobs was in a London guitar shop – the moderator, photographer and musician Simone Butler was practically born into pop music. After an education in classical music, Butler decided to play in several rock bands instead. Now she’s best known for playing bass in Primal Scream, a role she’s occupied for several years.
On top of all that, Butler is also a DJ. She’s a resident at the legendary Barcelona club Razzmatazz and at Glastonbury Festival, and she’s shared evenings with The Jesus and Mary Chain, Allah-Las, The Vacant Lots, The Black Ryder, and Nick Cave. And now she comes to »Pop-Kultur« to play an exclusive set.
