Steven Warwick is a British artist, musician, and writer. His work encompasses installations, theatre pieces, and film, and deals primarily with creating spaces of communication. Warwick is best known for his musical alias Heatsick, through which he’s released several albums on Berlin’s PAN label, including his latest Mixtape, »Nadir«, a conceptual work issued as an online audiovisual platform which grapples with uncertainty and unease during a low point.
At »Pop-Kultur« and together with special guests, Warwick will expand »Nadir« onto a multi-purpose space named the Mezzanine. It's a space between levels which can be occupied for indeterminate amounts of time. To quote Warwick's track »The Mezzanine«, »it feels like an airport but the difference is at any point you can choose to leave.«
