In his book »DARE: How Bowie & Kraftwerk Inspired The Death of Rock’n’Roll and Invented Modern Pop Music«, David Laurie wrote about the most important instrument of the 20th century. Without the synthesizer, there’d be no modern pop today. Together with Simon Price, the author and owner of the label Something In Construction (Memory Tapes, Air France) he will talk about the outbreak, and the leaders, of this musical revolution.

Simon Price is an award-winning British music journalist, broadcaster, and DJ. He is best known for his reviews and for the biography »Everything (A Book About Manic Street Preachers)«. For years he wrote for Melody Maker and The Independent On Sunday. Today he mainly writes for the Guardian and The Quietus.

This event will be held in English.
